Love And Kindness

Love and kindness are precious 

Gifts that everyone can share with others .

Remember Jesus told his disciples 

That their love was the true mark 

That the world would see .

God gives us all the kindness 

And love to give to anyone in need 

In a gentle and kind manner .

God Has It

It is God who does the guiding ,

Providing , restoring 

And all other good things .

I have been struggling needlessly 

With burdens that were not mine to carry .

The heavy weight of worry 

And anxiety began to be replaced by peace 

And I was able to go back to sleep .

Nothing was left for me to worry over .

I know , God has it all covered .

Compassionate

Nothing we struggle with is beyond 

Our Saviors concern .

If someone throws rocks at us 

He comforts us .

When life brings disappointments ,

He walks with us through despair .

He looks kindly on the lowly though lofty ,

He sees them from afar .

In our troubles , He preserves us 

Stretching out His hand against both 

The anger of our foes 

And our own deepest fear .

Thank You God for your compassionate love .

God Wants

God wants us to move beyond

Our fear and worry and shame .

God wants us to live openly ,

Honestly , into the fullness 

Of who and what we are .

Oh who God created us to be ,

That means entering 

A space of compassion and vulnerability 

The way Jesus did .

Often it is in those moments of raw 

Unabashed honesty 

That God speaks through us most powerfully .

Leaving

Everyone is happy to go .

Everyone can not wait to see

Their friends and family

To see what they see along the way 

The pheasants hiding in the ditch

The beautiful trees 

And what could be 

Just around the next bend .

When we all meet 

We do everything together 

Like simply eating 

And create new memories 

To remember !

The worst part of all this 

Is leaving each other ,

As I sit outside this cold night 

I know it has to be dark 

Before there is light .

The stars up in the sky 

Are like your eyes looking 

Down on me .

Those 2 big bright stars 

Right there right above me 

Are your eyes looking down on me .

Thank you for doing everything 

You could to help me 

Make it through the night .

I recall your love .

I know you still have plans for me 

Way beyond my imagination .

I know out here in the light 

In the quietness is the classroom 

Where you can hear my voice 

And truly I can hear yours too.

Some Day

Some day I will live above the sky

And I will rest but never die .

All my pain will have been taken away ,

In my new home I will have peace 

And a perfect place to be for eternity .

Today could be the day .

Everything will be calm and easy 

And heaven's joy awaits 

Because I prayed for this day 

And all my debits are paid 

Because of the Lord .

Who Loves Me

The Lord is merciful .

He is kind and patient ,

His love never fails .

For His unfailing love 

For us is powerful ,

The Lord's faithfulness

Endures forever .

In everything we do 

We show that we are true 

Ministers of God .

We patiently endure troubles 

And hardship and calamities 

Of every kind .

I know I have a friend 

So patient , kind and forbearing .

Of all my friends 

This friend does love me the best .

God Has It Covered

On a night I could not sleep 
With the heavy weight
Of worry and anxiety in sight
I started praying
After praying and praying
God took all the worries and anxieties .
They were replaced by peace ,
And I was able to go to sleep .
Nothing was left for me to worry about .
God had it all covered
And I was under the covers 
Fast a sleep and dreaming .
