Just Me

All I need to do from now on 
Is take care of me .
It is great to be up late at night 
Watching TV thinking I am young .
Life is short and time is fast 
No replay , no rewind
So I try to enjoy every moment 
As it comes .
I am not told to do something .
I am asked these days .
Now I can put off until tomorrow
What I did not want to do today .
I just need to take care of me .

When you have strength , courage 
And hope in your heart .
No body can beat you .
When you never give up .
You can hang on to whatever you want .

Follow Jesus

In the middle of all the noise 
I hear outside my apartment 
In all hours of the day and night 
And all the demands that a young girl 
Ask of me and shouts and screams
At me and then tells me I am no good
And then tells me she does not want me 
To even see her or my grandson ever again .
I know Jesus stands out quiet and gently .
He does not shout or wave his arms .
He does not make demands or threats .
He stands among us ,
Still saying with authority .
Do not be fooled by weak imitation .

Walk Away

You can tell your story
Even if nobody believes you .
You can hope , dream , kiss and even cry ,
You can work , talk ,go for a walk 
Or sit outside .
You can hang on to whatever you want .
You can do about  everything .
You can not escape reality ,
But you can just walk away .
Yes you can leave 
And do not be afraid 
To do what you want to do .

Glasses of Faith

You may pray in the morning 
Or at night or when ever 
You need to or not at all .
You may go to church .
It is God's house .
Always do your best 
And to honor God for He
Will always love you 
Even when you cry .
If you are young or old 
Wear your glasses
And you all will be 
More focused with your faith

One day you will wake up
And all of a sudden
