You Told Me to Sing

I know you see the Christmas trees 

All over the world .

You tell me to wipe away the tears .

You are spending Christmas  with Jesus .

I know you love Christmas music 

And it sounds better in heaven .

I know you hear the angels sing .

I know you see the pain in my heart .

I hope you tell Jesus 

How much I love you .

I know you want my heart to be joyful 

And let my Spirit sing .

You are spending Christmas in heaven . I

I know you are walking with the King .

I Will Make it

A voice in my mind said

You will make it .

Just that simple phrase. 

Soon after,

With much prayer

I would not wish  this sad experience 

On anyone  .

I have a great relationship with God .

I can open myself to God’s Spirit  

And His strength at any time 

Of day or night .

God really did answer me in my time 

Of need .

My Heavenly Father thank you 

For your strength 

And love that sustains me 

In my daily life .

                            I Love You All

His Voice

God speaks to us in many ways .

Sometimes that is through our thoughts 

And feelings ,

But he also works by means 

Of nature , other people or even books .

God directs us via the circumstance 

Of our lives ,

Both with the sunshine and the shadows  .

God is speaking all the time .

Will you listen to his voice ?

Give Thanks

We are to give thanks in all things  .

The sorrow and the joy .

The nights I think about the hurting ,

The people around me 

Who are grieving and scared ,

I let myself rejoice 

In the good too .

I rejoice in all the many victories 

That Jesus has seen me through  .

Jesus keep up the good work .
