Wisdom

I pray for more wisdom every day .
I believe that prayer is in the will of God .
The more wisdom I have the better .
I know knowledge is valuable  ,
But wisdom is superior .
Knowledge can be abused 
And lead one to sinister pursuits ,
Wisdom will never lead me astray .

Life is Too Short

When you have lived more years 
Than you have got left ,
You start thinking differently about life ,
Anxiety happens when you think 
You have to figure out everything 
All at once , so who has anxiety ?
When you are and take getting old  ,
When you do not like someone 
And your teeth hurt
You can go tell that person 
To go and chew on bark 
And you go and take a nap 
And your tears are deep 
Even at your age 
And you feel so cold 
Because you are getting old .

God Forgive

Do not ignore the pain  .
Share the pain .
Do not lock it up inside  .
Forgive her for she does not know 
What she has done .
Give her love and joy always .
She will fix it some day .
Her heart will get too heavy to carry .

In her sleep

God has not forgotten you .

While I may be clueless
In letting God judge me
By human standards !
God only desires what is best for me .
I pray every day and it opens 
My heart to God's desire .

People who do not pray 
Might easily stray
From what they believe .
When we pray 
We remain rooted in our beliefs .
Our mother said the rosary 
Thinking her kids would keep
Faithful to the Gospel of Jesus 
And her kids are faithful every day .

He does not steam nor shout 
But he always whispers .
He has not left you
And he never will .
He whispers from anywhere.
When you have pain of any kind 
He is there for you .
He ask you to have faith .
Faith is like a walk on stones 
In puddles but you will never be alone .

Dimished

My time on earth is diminishing .
I try not to waste time thinking
About what I could have done differently .
I think about my grandson and the joy
We had together .
I know his journey he will travel
He will never be alone .
I could have given him a map
But his journey is his own .
My love for him will never diminish

And they can never be taken away
From me even when I cry and pray
for him today .

It Is Encouraging

It is encouraging to know
That people living in different cultures
And places suffer the burdens
Of this world

As the day turns into night
I think about the people who play me .
This year has not been easy .
No obstacle has been able to crush me not yet .
I need to keep my worries out of sight .
Some people want material things

I want peace and people who love me .

We should put our worries at God's feet .
God is not worried because of our worries .
In our despair , God is a secure presence

God does not require

It is ok to change your dreams
When your dreams have all shattered  before you
You get to out grow old habits
And old versions of yourself that no longer fit .
You need to let go of the pressure
To stay small for others  .
You are born to grow and fo rise .

An earth angel will tell you
Keep your heart soft enough
To keep breaking .
Tears fall because the heart
Can no longer handle the pain .

Even Though

Even though my parents are not here on earth
And some family members have abandoned me ,
The Lord welcomes me lovingly with open arms .
I learned that I can not change people  ,
But the Holy Spirit can .
My advocate the Holy Spirit ,
Awaken in me the desire
To commit to a new future
And the belief that I could choose
A new life in Christ .

Time

I need Time .
Time is always current .
Time is always breaking .
Time is always exact .
Time never goes back .
Time is always accurate .
I need more time
For I am losing time
To see my loved ones .
I am getting old
And so some times
I feel the longest time

Praying is not always easy .

He does not need me
I need him .
I know many small things

Course for my life  ,
God always knows best .
When I submit to God's will ,
I can be certain that God
Has a good plan for my life .
He can use all things even disappointments

Mom

With mom beside me , guarding
Me from some kids and people
And from fears as I slept  ,
Providing me peace .
In much the same way remembering
God's presence provides me peace today .
When my strength is limited
And my mind is filled with worry
I can reach out to God and rest assured

I need not to dwell in fear .
