I know you see the Christmas trees 

All over the world .

Tightrope

Trust God to answer our prayers 

Can seem like walking on a tightrope  .

When our focus and allegiance

Doubt will creep in and begin to wobble  .’

A Disaster

There is a disaster in Maui Hawaii 

So many died and it  will 

Take a long time to find people

The TV stations are treating it  all

As a baseball game score .

They say there  has been 70 deaths .

The next day they say 99 ,

Then the next day it is 101 

Then the next it is 103.

Don’t they know life is not

A baseball score .

The numbers are people 

Their family may not see again 

So stop playing with people’s life 

When people can not find 

Their loved ones .

To their loved ones it is a disaster

When I abandon

I hurt myself and others

I wish grandma's Hands

We're holding me today .

She would say spread 

Love everywhere you go.

Let no one ever come to you  without leaving happier and a smile.

Take even bread 

With moderation ,

Lest an overloaded stomach 

Make you weary 

Of prayer.

She would say  

Pray ,hope and do not 

Worry .

Worry is useless .

God is merciful

And will hear  your prayers .

Grandma , I wish you were

Hearing  and talking to me 

And also holding my hand
