Little Things
Little things mean a lot .
Love can be shared on a dusty road .
I can see that far away look in your eyes .
The honest open smile .
Oh to cry by yourself .
Oh to sleep without dreams .

We once talked about together .
Someday I will see you
And we will talk and share life once again .

I Trust Him

Sometimes when I go down town
Even these days even at my age .
I sometimes get a gut punch
By people but not by kids .
Keds know better these days
Thank God for Smiley kids .
I have learned to leave
My pains to God
Because I just can not handle them
But God can .
I do not cry like I did when I was young .
I am getting wiser with age ,
God's love and promises will never end .

Jesus Never Does

Jesus does not just pass on by .
He never looks away .
He jumps into the lives of people
Who struggle .
He eats with them ,
He accepts them
And treats them with honor and dignity ,
No matter their past or present .
Despite our failure to love
Because He loves ,
He does not close His heart to us .

There is nothing worse then loneliness .
When you do everything
With good heart and a smile
And never expect nothing in return
And you will never be disappointed
I know the storms of life
Are only temporary
And God's blessings are forever .
God is always with us

When we sit in the darkness ,
Cleaning to our candle ,
We never sit alone .
When we cry ,
We do not cry alone in our fear .
This is because the light of life
Sits beside us .
Jesus is the light of the world .
He goes to our darkest place
So that we may be in His presence
Because of what Jesus did
Our hearts glow with the warmth
Of His nearness .
