Jesus taught us to love 

One another ,

Including those who annoy ,

Aggravate and disagree 

With us .

Many problems of our world 

Can be saved if we find ways 

To love our neighbors as ourselves .

Jesus Is With Us

When you start each day 

With Jesus is with us ,

It is a reminder that 

Whoever becomes frustrated 

By their disability

And gets upset with their routine 

And is disrupted by people 

But when you mention Jesus 

Or the Holy Spirit 

To them it does calm them down 

When they hear a song 

About Jesus they will sing 

At the top of their lungs 

And feel happy ,

Because Jesus is with all of us ,

The Minimum

When God calls us ,

We often do the bare minimum

And then blame God 

When things do not work out 

But God ask us 

To give all of ourselves to or work .

No matter what we do for God  , 

We can give it our all

Weight To Carry

I wonder how many people 

Would see me struggling 

And not understand why

I was dragging .

With my feet in the morning 

I thought that I could hide

My struggles ,

But they would eventually tire me .

I have many weights to carry 

Like family , identity and many responsibilities 

And I need to carry it all in my body .

It may not show at first 

As I go through my day by day 

But eventually I will grow weary .
I know I can run with perseverance .

As I lay aside every weight and look to Jesus .

I can rely on him to help me face 

Every challenge before me .

I do not have to do it alone .

Praying , applying scripture

To my situations and praising God 

Before I see results 

Are like making a U turn .

They make space for God 

To move my live

God desires for me .

On God more .

I found relief from my fear .

Many changes can cause us 

To appear different to one another

Like illness , ageing , genetics ,

Choice in clothing and hairstyles .

If we form opinions about one another

Based only upon outward appearance ,

We may miss opportunities to perceive 

The beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit 

Like the kind that is of great worth in God's s eyes .

Oh how blessed we are that God 

Looks upon our hearts .

When we seek to value what is 

In the hearts of others ,

Our hearts will be pleasing to God .
