Mom Or Grandma’s Day

Mom then Grandma is a unique mixture

Of love , understanding , kindness

Patience , dedication and also hard work .

She made us all go to church .

She always wanted us to work play and pray together.

When asked which child she loves more ,

The answer is the one that is ill

Until he or she gets well

Or the one that is away from home

Until he or she gets home

Or any particular time the one she loves

The most is the one who needs

Her love the most .

When she is with her children

It is mother’s day or  grandma’s day all  day long .

Get Your Work Done

Don’t tell me you are going to do it .

Show me how you are going to do it .

You have to have optimism .

It is better to offer no excuse than a bad one .

Your time is ticking .

Your body has to get into motion !

In yourself you need to have confidence .

You have to live with what you have done

In life and what you have not done yet

So now do your work and get it done .

The Guy At The End Of The Bar

How many doors did he try

Before he opened the door to this bar ?

After a few hours ,

The old guy did not get to far.

He said he was here to unwind .

He seemed to be grinding his own gears

With tears in his beer .

He always has a door nob confession

At the end of the night

And after all his talking ,

The guy at the end of the bar

Who is the last to go home

Ends up his night talking

To his visiting angels .

You loved me before I came into your world .

You loved me more when I cried

And even more when I smiled .

You took care of me when I was up

And brought me more love when ever I was down .

I could not begin to count

The times you tolerated my moods .

In a way we grew up together .

A mother is special, fantastic , exceptional

And she is all mine .

 

When you get to old to know

From right and wrong ,

I will be old enough to take care of your crying

And all of your mood changes daily .

Oh your ups and downs !

I will bring you more love

Than you brought me at the beginning

Because I am here because of your love.

We will love each other

And we will cry together until the end of time .

Suffer In Silence

    

When you hurt and you do not

Want anyone to know how much,

It is better to suffer in silence

In the long run .

To miss someone is part of moving on

Even when you suffer in silence

From time to time

When you think of someone special

Silence is golden .

When people make you feel along ,

Sometimes you put a smile on your face

And laugh and yet suffer in silence  .

You can go to sleep and not wake up

From your nightmare .

Suffer in silence  at night

Is nor fare .

In the morning you might just tie

Your shoes real tight

And go for a run for an hour

Maybe you will

Get your suffering in silence out

When you run hard

And give your body a work out

Even more when you sweat

Pray even cry .

The suffering in silence is gone

For a while.

A Fishing Chronicle

I want to get the catch of the day .

I may use a spin doctor or the pumpkin

Seed color to get the big fish that got away yesterday .

I will need a big net and a small hook

Oh what the heck .

I will fish all day

To even get the random fish

Just to escape from the everyday rat race .

I will even take a pan fish

And put them in my bowl I use each morning at home

And cook them that way !

The best time to go fishing is yesterday

That’s when they are biting .

My fishing chronicle was yesterday !!

I did at the end of the day

Get more much more than the catch of the day .
