My Grandpa

He comes down to my level

Because I can not get up to him .

He can lift me up .

He shows me the way .

Oh what a happy day .

He knows just what to say to me .

He always protects me again and again .

He has total compassion .

He is satisfied just to be with me

And I know he will always love me

Fishing With Grandpa

The best time to go fishing is with grandpa .

You never have to ask grandpa to go fishing twice .

Oh those grandpa's distractions

When we go fish in

The sunrise , the sun , the wind

And if I'm lucky  to be fishing with grandpa at night

He would  talk to me about the stars

And always about the water

And the fish he got when he was a boy

Just like me .

Grandpa's fishing stories

Always became roomers !

Grandpa told me

Fishing is good medicine

Especially when we are together

Or by your self  or with a friend .

Getting a fish is always a bonus .
