Remember Not So Fast

Don't miss the time

When someone you know wants to talk .

All you have to do is listen .

Don't be afraid to think not so fast .

Go smell the flower .

Go lay down on new mowed green grass

And look up above

And look  what you see .

Give a free smile and a free hug

To someone new

Or an old friend too .

Remember ask yourself ,

Where does the time go .

It goes away .

A heart of compassion

Trouble is transportation .

He Loved

My dad always sang from his soul

And the angels would be right behind

Him to back him up

And they would sing as one .

He always said singing

Will brighten your day .

You need to sing like the flowers

Need the sun .

When you have a broken heart ,

Sing from the heart

And the flowers under the sun

Will bloom again .
He told me I was a child of promise

And harsh criticism

Will always come your way

But always find time to sing .

When you feel a need ,

Just thank God for the blessing

That you can sing .

What I thought  of my dad ,

I would say

He loved to sing ,

Make children smile ,

He believed in God ,

He loved me ,

He just loved .

Life is like a clock

You only start it up

We do not know

Laughter is a spiritual warfare .

Have a good cheer .

God may conceal the purpose

Of his ways

But his ways are not without purpose .

Between Him and us disappear .

God works the night shift .

Oh God works every shift .

God comfort and soothes us

And guides us always .

In our lives of faith and service

Rest is as important as work

So we will rest every night in your arms
