God has wisdom and might .

He can counsel and understanding .

Wisdom is like honey for your life

Some Days

Somedays it takes everything 

I hope to lead with love .

Instead of with revenge or hatred 

Or bitterness .

Somedays I take a deep breath

To calm my spirit  .

Sometimes my inclination

Is not love ,

But I do want love

Temptation And Trials

We learn that temptation and trials 

We face do not have to be without purpose 

Or merely a treat we endure .

Although giving in to temptation 

Can bring heartbreak and devastation .

When we turn to God with humble hearts 

Seeking His wisdom and grace ,

We find He gives generously 

To all without finding fault  .

Through His power in us ,

Our trials and struggles to resist sin 

Build perseverance ,

So that we may be mature and complete ,

Not lacking anything .

As we trust in Jesus ,

There is no reason to live in fear .

As God's clearly loved children ,

We can find peace as we rest 

In His loving arms 

Even as we face temptation .

The Trash

It can become easy to become 

Accustomed to our wrongdoing .

When our sins and wrongdoing

Make us uncomfortable ,

We become disgusted .

However doing nothing 

About them seems to lessen 

Its impact on our conscience .
In the end we become accustomed 

To living with them 

Or spend the rest of our lives 

Complaining about them .

We become convinced that we 

Can not confront them .

The assessment we are told 

Is that it is the time 

To take out the trash 

And clutter from our hearts 

And to seek refuge in Christ ,

Who can redeem us 

From our sins and wrongdoing 

And refresh our spirits .

Sometimes

Sometimes even the strongest 

Among us experience weakness .

In those times we call upon 

God for strength ,

But when we feel  so overwhelmed 

By a crisis that we do not even know 

How to pray ,

God who knows the cries

Will send comfort , healing 

And life to us .
