Jesus Territory

When you were in grandma's house ,

There was always a picture of Jesus

Hanging in her house some where .

It was grandma's house

But much more than that it was Jesus territory .

Grandma said , we can do big things together .

Loving grandma and Jesus 

And loving each other and forgiving

Each other was a big deal 

For grandma and  Jesus .

When you were in grandma's house

And in Jesus territory ,

They had and always will have unchanging hands ,

For they will always be praying for us .

Go Fish

Have you ever gone fishing 

In all kinds of weather ?

Have you ever done a fishing 

Dance ?

After catching your first fish

Of the day ,

You need to hold it and kiss it

Lip to lip .

While fishing you will have memories ,

You will never release 

No matter how many times

You go fish ,

There will always be memories .

Always snap shots of what

You see and what you get 

And therefore you will never forget

Your fishing trip 

But always find time to eat

To help pass the time ,

Just in case a fish goes by your line !

My Radio

I heard your love on the radio .

On the radio Jesus rescued me .

It always comes down to who

Your with and our blessed relationships .

I ran this morning ,

In the radio in my head  ,

I heard my mom and my dad and my grandma

And my blessed uncles sing to me 

And with Jesus

They helped me make it through

This day one more time .

What beautiful music

They all made .

Please sing to me just one more time .

A Friend's Feelings

Don't ever be reluctant 

To show your feelings 

We can talk on the phone

For hours and when we are done 

I can see your smile 

Over the phone .

Some days that are tough

You can call me

For I want you to know

There is value in everyone ,

And in the world we live in

Our destiny a waits .

I can try and help you

Find the right direction

Just for you .

Oh if nothing else

I can just Listen  .

I learned these things 

from people who loved me .

Don't ever forget 

Your feelings mean something

Special to me always .

The power of joy 

A child in his swing .

Oh to swing in the wind .

There is a special inspiration 

In a child's swing .

It's not just where the swing goes .

What does a child see ?

What is on the other side

Of the wind

When they swing ?

The wind is not always loud 

Like a child in his swing .

Who goes real high ,

When a child is swinging 

The child or me ?

A child is always looking

For more way up high .

You can pray any time

A child always smiles .

A child always laughs .

Because that is all he knows .

A child will always reach

For more than he has .

A child will see everything

As brand new .

A child does not know

What is wrong .

A child does all these things

And knows what he knows

Because he just came from Jesus .
