Be Patient

I am determined to change my attitude ,

Day by day I am seeking Christ 's grace 

And love so that I can attend 

To my own faults 

And be more patient with others .

God's Plan

As I have surrendered to God's plan  .

I have gained a new outlook at life ,

I have made new friends at my age ,

Maybe ones I would not have gotten 

To know if I had lived out my own plan .

God was and still is leading me 

Through this journey toward a better me .

We Are Important

God created the heaven and animals ,

Including us .

We can give thanks 

That God can see everything 

As a whole never just a part 

And that each one of us 

Is important to our Creator .

No Transaction

Religion is not a transaction  .

Even when we ignore God's presence ,

God loves us regardless .

But a relationship with God 

Does require our response .

God would say 

I am with you 

And God is always with us .

I Hope

Even though my dad 

Was with me for only 

A short time ,

If I truly think about it 

I am grateful that he helped

Teach me how to praise

And serve the Lord .

My dad encouraged me 

To listen to smile to care

To love to pray 

And I can be a mentor 

To others 

As they grow into faith ,

I pray and hope .

Save And Redeem

We are described by God's grace 

Rather the labels of our own sinful conditions .

Just as my teacher gave me 
A new identity along time ago ,

God also restored me so I 

Can reveal God's amazing attributes .

Like a tree ,

We do not have to become stunted .

Through lives of prayer 

And acts of forgiveness ,

We allow God 

To heal our scars  ,

Create new life  and guide us
