Sunrise

While watching a beautiful sunrise
Outside inspires me and fills me 
With hope and a new day has begun .
I sometimes hear people say 
They can not wait for the year to end .
Every day marks the end of one year 
And the start of a new one .
When is your birthday ?
Every day is a gift from God at my age  .
Each morning as the sun rises ,
We all can open our hearts 
And allow Jesus to rise 
In our spirit .
