On the Saturday before Easter
I woke up in tears ,
Feeling completely overwhelmed .
I knew it was time to go for a run .
I could not understand why God
Felt so far off and silent
And I was anxious and confused .
I can not always see how God is working
In my life .
I know how the story ends .
Amid my confusion , anxiety
And waiting ,
I may experience during
My dark Saturdays
I can be assured that God
Is at work in my world ,
Giving me hope on Sundays .
