Mary's Star

There is no doubt that my friend

Mary did enter the gates of heaven .

She can dance all night long 

With the best teacher of them all .

There may be many stars in heaven ,

But another one just streaked across the sky 

As a blaze of beauty and that was Mary .

Who can say witch is greater  ?

The steady long living glimmer 

Of many stars 

Or the shooting star .

Mary's star will never set 

So shall it be .

At the dawning of heaven 

Mary's beauty endures 

And she will pray for all of us 

And she will bring joy to us

When we do not expect it .

Her love for us all will never

Fade away .

All we have to do is look up 

Into the sky 

And we will see her star 

Looking down on us

All can talk to her at any time .

I feel your gentle presence in all I do .

A eagle will fly above  .

I can hear a lark sing .

Put fear back in your mind and eyes .

Everybody faces the jaws

Of uncertainty .

A world that is under the bondage

Of evil and what is coming next .

When a child feels lonely ,

Rejected and sorry for them self ,

They will say nobody likes me .

Everybody hates me .

I try to set a smile

Tossing And Turning

I have been losing sleep

Tossing and turning on my bed 

At night ,

Trying to work out the issue 

And try to find a solution 

As to what I can do ?

You all know me .

I began fretting about not getting 

Enough rest to handle the challenges 

Of the next day .

As I am lying down 

And the Sun is not up ,

In peace I will lie down and sleep ,

I have resigned myself 

Into the hands of God .

In God I have perfect trust ,

That he will help me sleep

In His power and presence 

When my worries threaten me ,

Like my mother and father 

And grandma's arms 

I can lie down and sleep .
