Have you had a feeling of be rejected
And disrespected by anyone ?
It is not a laughing matter
When it happens to you .
Rejection and disrespected does hurt .
We have all been guilty of trying
To get someone off our back .
There is always the guy
Wanting a hand out ,
The elder who always
has a beef .
You turn your head ,
Row your eyes
And just walk away
And they are not in your heart
Because you do not want them
Around at all .
We are guilty of rejecting
Those whom God deems valuable .
Remember , Christ took all our sins ,
Suffering the pain ,
The guilt , the shame
And our rejection from God .
Through His sacrifice
For all who believe in Him
Would be forgiven
And accepted as God's children .
Knowing that all of us are precious
To God ,
Let us draw from His unending strength ,
Which empowers us to respond to others
With love and not rejection .
May we rejoice in the opportunities
Available to share Christ's message of hope .
