God's plan is beyond our understanding .
Everything happens for a reason .
I know we should believe in looking
On the bright side always .
They say God has everything
In hand , no matter how bleak they seem .
When terrible things happen ,
We do not need to deflect our suffering
With shiny shield of optimism .
We need them to sit with us
In the unbearable excruciating
Stew of our pain .
It is in the dark walk together
That we begin to glimpse again
The divine love we hope will one day
Answer all our questions .
Lord , your ways are mysterious .
Help us to trust you .
