The Small Things

Teach everyone about the small things .

Laughter and a smile will cheer you .

Always check out the spring's top shows outside too.

Look to the sunbeam to warm you during the day

And the moonbeam to charm you at night .

Everyone has a sheltering angle so

Nothing will harm you .

When you pray ,

Heaven will hear you .

Feel your heart beat.

Be bold be brave be you .

Until you spread your wings

You'll never know how far each

One of us can fly .

Life is an adventure  .

Go live it .

Believe breath and imagine .

Everyone is fearfully and wonderfully made .

What we say in the dark ,

Will be heard in the light .

More things grow in secret .

Everyone sees more from the outside

Than what is inside .

Think about the small things I missed

God's Accuracy

God does these things

Every time in the spring

Each watermelon has an even

Number of strips on the rind .

Each orange has an even number

Of segments .

Each ear of corn has an even

Number of corn .

Each stalk of wheat has an even

Number of grains .

A bunch of bananas has its low

Row of even number of bananas .

Each row decreases by one

So that one row has an even number

And the next row is the odd numbered one .

When you eat these foods ,

You can thank God for more

Than his accuracy .

Lonesome

I feel everyone is wearing a tuxedo

And I am wearing brown shoes .

I have the lonesome blues .

I sometimes do not know what to do .

I just sit by the old dusty bar stools .

I just don't feel like I fit in today

So I write my thoughts down

When  ever I can .

When I write , I don't feel so lonesome ,

I feel like I am talking to all of my friends .

I will pray about it today

As I try to get away ,

I will try to clear my mind

As I go for a run again .

The Tumbleweed

I got out of the way

Of a tumbleweed as it bounced

Along on the church parking lot

But I did not want to get away from you .

As the wind blew

I held my hat on my head .

The dust got in my eyes .

It took a while

To get inside

Your house

But once I got in

Everything was calm peaceful and beautiful

And everything was right with me .

Fear

The fear I hear most is the unknown .

Jesus said trust me and don't be afraid  .

I know all fears are useless.

Faith is priceless .

When I go fishing or hunting or running,

All my fears go away .

Jesus is with me When ever I do these things .

It is not how many fish or pheasants I get

Or how far I run ,

It is the quietness I seek you see .

I forget all my fears

Whenever I do these things .

I know Jesus is always with me .

May the shimmering sunshine

The birds and smell the flowers

Your dog  will always paws for love.

A dog will trust you intensely to the upmost

Even when he sees a dove .

All problems vanish when he comes into view .

When he comes running just to you

And his tail is wagging .

He will always understand you .

He has steady eyes

And is always focused just on you .

I am your best friend .

I will never drive you away .

Some may hold you at arms length

Or even push you away .

I understand for I have faced

The ultimate unkindness of many .

I have been despised

And laughed at and rejected by some .

He dropped his head .

A heart of compassion

My dad always sang from his soul

And the angels would be right behind

A Clock

Life is like a clock

You only start it up

We do not know
