It is a quiet morning 

With the birds chirping .

The sun is coming up

And the grass under my feet .

Are wet .

The wind is sleeping yet .

There are large marshmallow clouds

And so many beautiful colors

In the early morning horizon .

There are yellow and orange 

And off white marshmallow clouds  .

This quiet morning

Brings a potential perfect day

Fishing

Before I go fishing along the way

I try to find 3 things to bring good luck .

I try to find 3 dogs , 3 dear or 3

Pheasants in the sky  of South Dakota .

When I get to where I want to be ,

The walleyes are nervous .

The time is just a blink of a eye

When I get my first walleye ,

What a great time .

I can not stop the breeze

From the wind ,

There are diamonds of sunlight

Dancing in the water

As I fish , the fish are like jewels in the water .

I always like to fish with a friend ,

Someone to share my enjoyment

Of not letting  the walleye get away  .

Yes I always kiss my first fish of the day .

I need someone to take a snap shot

Of my good fortune ,

You see I am a master fisherman

In my dreams .

When you are by yourself ,

It is hard to fire yourself up .

When you are by yourself  ,

It is hard to achieve somethings

You can not reach .

You can pray ,

You can not conceive .

Don't be anxious

Just keep the good things going .

Don't push to much into a day ..

Getting old

When your getting old ,

Life is not tied with a bow

But it is still a gift  .

The best is not yet to come .

You find time to go fishing

With your best fishing pole

And hopefully with a friend or two .

A big fish can make a big splash

In your mind on a quiet afternoon

And it can last for days

If you get it or not  .

Fishing becomes a big part

Of your life's view

When you get older

You do not use much short sleeve bait

Because of the walleye chop any more .

It is hard to stay warm some days .

Life is not fair

But it is good to be fishing

By yourself

Or with a friend when you can

But I get tired when I get home

From fishing .

When I fish and I am old

It is a great tired

I would even go fishing tomorrow .

She has the legs of a gazelle .

Her teeth are all white
