Grandma's house is a nice place to land .

It is always cookie time at grandma's house .

I can truly get dirty at grandma's house

And grandma will clean me up

And everything is just fine in the world

I am a special job for grandma

But between just grandma and me

Its a job of worry

But more than that  it's the love between

I lived this long to get to 62 .

I don't count my years  no more

I will make the years count .

I will always project my thoughts  .

I will look to the future .

I will judge me all the  time

But  I will never judge my  grandson  .

I will be my grandson's special aspirin

When he needs me .

Grandpa is old that's true

But he has wisdom  .

Grandpa will make the years count

With smiles and laughter and joy

And happiness for his grandson .

My Paradise

My paradise has many things

It has 4 walls ,

Yes it does .

It is my photograph paradise .

I have snap shots on all 4 walls.

I have all kinds of shots

Hunting story shots , small mouth shots,

Fishing story shots , running shots ,

With friends shots and oh yes family shots .

I am in some photographs too !

In my paradise all the photos

Are looking at me .

It took years to put my paradise together .

It is always growing .

Every shot brings back it's own memory

Especially to me .

Some people tell me

I take to many snap shots  .

They all are part of my own memory .

My paradise has a TV and a bed or 2 or 3 or 4

And many things !!

So I can close my eyes

And dream of the next
