A true friend will help you

To be just and fair .

He will comfort you as 

Comfort is shared  .

He will help you to see

Where help is needed

And a true friend will provide

Tame your tongue  .

You have two ears 

And one mouth

Therefore you should hear

Twice as much as you use

Words can leave scares .

Try to keep your lips sealed

You need to watch your words

That have no beautiful true colors .

Feed your spirit 

With your mouth shut .

Zip it up and be all that you can be 

By walking away .

Use the tongue to say beautiful words

Like when you pray .

But you can not hear them today

How Big

When your outside early in the morning 

And the sun is as big as all out door ,

When you climb the highest mountain 

You have ever seen ,

When you are on an ocean and you can see

Cool water as far as you can see ,

When you are on a large river

And you catch the biggest fish you ever 

Believe possible  ,

When you go to bed at night ,

At night you look up into the sky 

And all you can see is the stars 

Giving you light tonight 

And let is not forget the full moon

That is shinning on you just tonight ,

But how big is God ?

He is always consistent 

And had unchanged hands .

I still ask , how big is God 

For you can rest on him anytime 

And he tells you 

You are his own .

How big is God ?

Wait for the Lord and be strong .

Let your heart take courage

While I wait I will trust in God .

I have to wait for God to act for me .

All people have to wait

All things work together

For good for those who love God

When was the last time 

You looked at the county side ?

Have you ever been walking 

In the county and the cranberries are ripe 

Right in front of your eyes ?

You may struggle with impatience

The Challenge

A person or a few people may set up

A challenge for you to do .

The challenge may be a special task

Or effort on your part .

You try to do it ,

But the person or the people who set the challenge  up

Just wanted to see you fail

And they could laugh real hard 

And all you wanted to do was to help them

And just fit in .

You can use a band aid to stop the blood

From running after some challenges .

A challenge that can hurt a lot more

Than some blood that may shoot up 

Into the air 

Is a challenge that hurts your inside .

My mother said , you need to laugh

On the outside while crying in the inside .

Some hurts last longer than some blood

You lost in a day .

Sometimes you need to just go away 

And cry and learn who your true friends are

His Name Was Tiny

He always wore a cap just like my dad .

Like my dad , he had a unique smile

And oh that monkey grin .

When I was with him ,

There was no real time  .

We never went hunting or fishing 

Together enough .

His stories were useful for a laugh  .

He always helped me with my confidence .

When ever I was down he knew what to to .

I never wanted the day to go in the rear view

The Wisdom of grandma

Will be heard until the end of time .

She had wisdom before she ever

Took care of me .

She always picked up my broken pieces .

Grandma also showed me how to fish

She said I had to use calmness .

And she had spirit .

Grandma is a lot of things 

For she is strong  in my eyes .

I could not stand up without my grandma .
