The Mirror

Coming home for a reunion 

Of 10 or 20 or 50 years 

And you go to your old house

And to the bathroom .

you will look into the mirror 

And you will see the past .

if you have been gone

As long as I ,

The mirror brings 

Back memories 

Of  a quieter time ,

A larger world ,

A more joyful heart ,

And more friends Than  I

Could count  .

I can smell moms cooking x

And I just want to go play 

With my old friends

Just one more time .

Oh my God  the mirror 

Is fogging over .

At myself .

May our hearts be prepared

To let go of all earthly

Grievances 

And strive to unite

in perfect  harmony
