I'm Damaged

it is sad that every

Unholy  moment

Makes  me less

Of who I really am 

And every unholy moment 

Makes me  a mess.

When I abandon 

 My destiny 

I hurt myself and others 

And happiness impossible .

At my age I am damaged 

But everyday  I try 

To  do better .

Grandma's Hands

I wish grandma's Hands

We're holding me today .

She would say spread 

Love everywhere you go.

Let no one ever come to you  without leaving happier and a smile.

Take even bread 

With moderation ,

Lest an overloaded stomach 

Make you weary 

Of prayer.

She would say  

Pray ,hope and do not 

Worry .

Worry is useless .

God is merciful

And will hear  your prayers .

Grandma , I wish you were

Hearing  and talking to me 

And also holding my hand 

Today .

I need your big hands Today
