Did you know if you ask a carpenter 

How much a hen weighs ,

He will say 10 pounds .

An alligator can grow up to 15 feet 

But most of them have just four .

I always put my shoes on first

Before I put my pants on to remind myself

That life is not easy .

I like being your right hand man

When we hunt or fish

But not your little finger .

Did you know the future

Is tomorrow and the next day .

Everyone should be told 

When they have said enough .

God Is Here

God will you reach down

Dreams are tickets 

Through the quiet night .

The dreams are made for my eyes only .

That I could not get back too

The River And Beyond

I want to take you fishing

Along the river .

I have a plan to first put

You along the river .

As I sit beside you I wounder

Will you get a white bass

Or a walleye or nothing at all ?

You will see the sun in a whole new way .

Will you have a nice day ?

Will all this be big enough to suit you

At your young age 

And after you get your first fish

Will you want ti come back 

To the river with grandpa 

And do it all over again

And will you laugh

And smile no matter what happens

I hear the voices calling me home .

They take me home where I belong .

There is a brother hood 

And a sister hood for we all are one

Big family in my old home town .

We all stand shoulder to shoulder

The sky is awake day or night.
