As your father my children ,
I will get my BS degree
In fatherhood only when I die .
Each day you become less dependent on me .
I must let you go a little each day
And let God help .
Prayer and parenting go together
I know that already .
Don't waste time with tears ,
When it comes to my children ,
There will be times when I should let some things happen
Or make it happen for my children .
I must lift up my heart each night and day
I know there is hope in all of us
As your father , I must look , listen
And believe in all of you .
I pray that I may get a c in my BS degree
In fatherhood one day .
