The River

The river teaches you

To slow down ,

Take your time young man .

Take each moment by moment .

Remember little by little

The birds along the river

Will build their nest

Just like the little birds

In your back yard

If you only just take the time

To watch  .

When fishing on the river

Take time to relax .

When the fish are ready

You will be there .

You can always come back

To the quiet river .
