My grandson has learned
To turn off and on the light .
Today he likes to turn on the light .
He loves the light .
At some point he will have to a just
To the dark parts of life .
His grandpa even today has to walk
A delicate balance
Of when to sit in the dark
And when to turn on the light
For himself and his grandson .
