Grandpa could always build
A bridge to anyone or any where .
He dreamed with his eyes open
And he has bigger dreams
With his eyes closed .
We could walk on his bridge
Hand in hand .
He has big hands and yet so soft .
What ever grandpa built ,
He wanted everyone to be treated
With honor ,respect and even mercy .
He always spoke the truth .
He loved to pass the baton
To everyone who helped him build
Oh so many beautiful things .
He loved to show all that he
Could do with love .
