God's world was in her heart .
You had the privilege to talk to her .
When you ate at her house
You didn't want to leave.
When she cooked there was always
Room for one more at her table
Or a TV tray .
Grandma's house was on solid rock
That is how everyone saw it .
In her house you learn the lesson
Of trust in her special school
Of trials
Grandma helped to heal the wounds
Made by harsh or angry words .
She always said turning down the volume
Of life allows you to listen to God .
Grandma would let you sleep on the other side
Of the bed
If you wanted to sleep there on a weekend !
She always had cookies and the coffee was on .
She always showed everyone
How she wanted everyone to act among everyone.
