Through Time I Know

I've been waiting a long time .
I have learned to laugh on the out side while
Hurting on the inside .
I have learned self control which is mine .
I have learned to smile not die .
I know there are no gains with out pains .
I do not want pity , but I want respect .
I know this world is not tamed .
I know I can not get respect were I sit .
