Me

I have lived a long time

Much longer than the years.

The Lord will always be-hold my life .

There have been so many lonely hours

From boyhood on

To these hours of contemplation .

I always tried to fit in

When some people did not make it easy

And that happens off and on these days .

I don't need to shoot off fire works every night .

I sit out side many nights .

I watch the stars up in heaven ,

The milky way in all its glory

The sparkling display

Of the Northern lights .

When I sit out side with the dogs at night ,

I thank God how lucky God has been to me .
