I yank the spoon and fork and knife
Because I can not wait to eat .
They don't always get in the right hands .
They get dirty 3 times a day .
They start each time we eat clean .
A napkin wrapped around all three .
They may end up on the floor
Or on the table can't you see ,
Thank you for those who set up
The silverware each day
Just for us to eat breakfast ,
Dinner and supper .
