My Grandson's Shoes

What is my visual reminder

Of God's love ?

My reminder is my grandson .

Almost anything can happen 

And yet I can not expect

Anything more from him

Right now 

For he is a child of God .

I try to stay a head of

My grandson if I can .

I watch him step out of his shoes 

But right now I help him

Put his shoes back on 

Because he is my grandson .
