The Picture

I can not change a picture

That I have already taken 

But I can change

A picture before I take it  .

I may tell you what to say ,

But my eyes can never look away .

A picture will tell a long story

But yet so short !

The stories behind each picture 

Oh to go back in time 

For just a second  .

Oh thank God for the pictures .

The silence of each shot

And yet the echoes of their memories 

Of each one .

I therefore love taking them .

Say horse manure !!!
