Grandpa Tell Me

Grandpa I am tired and I can not sleep

So tell me a good story I will remember

You telling me until I die .

Grandpa help me hear words of hope  .

Grandpa help me speak words of hope

Until the end of time  .

Whenever I struggle with the circumstance

Of my life ,

I want to hear your words of encouragement

From you that lifts my spirit

And you tell me again

To always lift my eyes to the Lord .

Grandpa tell me a good story again

Before I go to sleep

About Jesus or my family

That I love dearly

And I will remember until

All the stars are all burned out

Up in the sky .
