What to serve at Christmas dinner , that was the
Question . We decided on chicken , potatoes and gravy ,
bread and butter , corn ,red Jell-O salad and pumpkin pie . It
wasn't a very big dinner because nobody came because
They had been home before that . Just our family was there .
In the afternoon we looked through our gifts and played
cards . For supper we ate leftovers . It was the first time we
had such a small Christmas dinner but we had fun anyway .
