Oh Mom

Many church members 

Perform the roles that seem 

To fade into the background .

Mom typed for the church 

At no cost .

She collected donations 

For many projects .

She was always on 

A church committee .

She even stocked 

The church kitchen .

No matter how minor 

The jobs seem 

All her jobs were important 

To the life of the church .
