We know that God’s forgiveness
Is unconditional and gratuitous .
God’s mercy tells us is like an abyss .
We will never reach the end
Of God’s mercy .
When I find it hard to forgive ,
Sitting outside on a Sunday morning
It helps to think about taking
A leap into something
I can not see the end of .
I do not know how my heart will change
When I take that first step
Toward forgiving
And that is OK .
