It is a struggle for me
To lay down my pride ,
To set aside my selfishness
And to swallow my sarcastic retorts
When he or she has pushed me
To the edge of my patience .
Jesus is always forgiving ,
Faithful and fully alive in the world
Through my love for one another .
When I pray the Our Father
I ask God to forgive me.
As I forgive those
Who have affined me .
I love God above all else
And I must love one another
Like God does .
