To see and to know your grandpa
Is to observe and to understand
And to listen too
All that you can
With what your grandpa shows you
And tells you
And what he has done
With his hands and heart
And his love for you .
Grandpa's heart is always open .
He always tells a toy story
That is always a happy story .
With grandpa good things will happen
Like everything is as fresh as lettuce
And there can be a wrinkled blanket
In the sky almost every day
But it can be straightened
Out before the day is over
And everything will be OK
