First Glance

When was the last time 

You looked at the county side ?

Have you ever been walking 

In the county and the cranberries are ripe 

Right in front of your eyes ?

You may struggle with impatience 

So once in a while stop to enjoy 

The blessings that have been 

Bestowed on you .

Take the time to just open your eyes 

To see even more blessings

And what you love .

The busyness of life

Sometimes distracts us from seeing

The love of God clearly 

But when we stop just for prayer

and quietness 

God reveals far beyond 

What we may see at first glance .
