The Hidden Gems

When you go for a drive

On a Sunday afternoon ,

You can go down a country road

And you look down the road

And for a little while

It looks like you will run into blue water .

You look at the beautiful colors

Of the trees sharing their time

With the bright sunlight ,

The bald eagle that is flying

From one hay stack to another

And when you look down the ditch ,
You will see a pheasant sitting

Getting ready to eat

And you don't have your gun

Out your window .

When you live in South Dakota ,
