The Light

Stand behind your child

Let them fall ,

But pick them up after their fall

Let them learn

But always have a light on them .

When they show hatred ,

Show them the way to love .

When there is injury ,

Talk to them about pardon .

When they have doubt ,

Show them faith .

When they have disparagement ,

Tell them there is always hope .

When darkness comes ,

Light will follow  .

When they are sad ,

Joy will come their way .

Remember to always tell them

Miracles can happen to us all .
