At one time I was told to laugh
On the outside
While crying in the inside .
You are strong and tenacious .
I was told to smile all the time .
Now is the time to find my voice .
You say you are here for me
And you will listen
And when I need you
You will not abandon me .
You say you will never tell me what to do
But you do have ears .
Yes we can just hang out together too .
