Grandma's Words

Grandma would say

What you sow is what you weep .

May the words you speak

Point others to Jesus .

Let Jesus take control of your mouth .

Let Jesus forgive you for careless

Thoughtless and angry words .

Open your eyes to the people

Around you.

I want you to make room

In your heart for compassion

To overflow

And for you to always watch

Your mouth

Or I will wash your mouth out with soap .

What comes out of your mouth

Shows grandma how much

You need Jesus's help

To clean your mouth

When grandma is not around .
