Sit A Spell

It is tough to find time

To just sit a spell even in a bar .

I look around at those who share

This time with me .

You helped me to make time

To spend some time with you for encouragement

Maybe a challenge to run

And perhaps just  plain conversation

Or oh just come in to the bar

And sit a spell ,

Oh to some catch up conversation

Oh to let me relax and talk

And tell old stories .

You make a difference in my life .

It is tough to  find time

To just sit a spell
