Once in a while
You may see or hear a gorilla
In your back yard
Or in your room
Or in a public place .
You want the gorilla to go away .
The gorilla wants you to feel uncomfortable .
He may just laugh at you
When he puts his claws on your shoulder .
You may have looked up to him at one point
With respect
But now you hurt where a doctor can not help .
Someone may say just walk away from the gorilla .
You are better than him .
You should never take the advice of someone
Who has not had your kind of trouble ,
Because they may love the gorilla
That is given you a hard time on your life's trail .
God will help you from above
With his special love .
