Try to be quiet before God .
Always pray before him always .
It is not easy to be quiet these days .
Our world is so loud
And the noise seeps into our hearts
And minds .
We all feel restless and jumpy
And on edge .
God seems so far away ,
But he is always near at hand ,
No matter how we feel .
When we do quiet down our hearts ,
We will find him there .
He is always patiently waiting
To show His love .
He quiets me with his nearness
For I know he loves me always .
