Dad Said

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

And lean not on your understanding 

In all your ways .

Submit to him and he will make your path

Straight 

God will guide you toward this goal 

For your growth .

His ultimate goal is that you 

Become more like Him .

This does not mean that the path

He chooses will be easy .

I knew that when I ran with a braces on one leg ,

But when you choose to trust His direction 

And Timing are ultimately for my good .

Oh this 4th of July I will trust the Lord ,

Because my dad said so many years ago .
